About Josie

Hi I’m Josie and the owner of Nexus Homeopathy. I am very passionate about supporting and advocating for those with POTS and those with long term chronic illness. As a homeopath, I enjoy working with long term chronic cases and putting all of the puzzle pieces together to figure out the overall symptom patterns and root cause of the chronic disease. My patients often tell me that they feel heard for the first time and are finally comfortable sharing all of their health struggles.

As I was completing my clinical internship in herbal medicine and nutrition, I was finding that my patients were not at the level of health that I felt they should be experiencing. I had a patient with a case of warts which was not responding to herbal medicine and nutrition. I started to research other natural modalities that could address warts and I became intrigued by homeopathy. Fast forward a few years, I was in homeopathy school and saw another patient with warts in my clinic year. I prescribed a homeopathic remedy and the body expelled the wart in a few weeks. From that point forward, I’ve been absolutely in love with homeopathy.

Why is being a homeopath the best job ever (for you)? I love puzzles and finding all of the pieces that fit perfectly together – once I start a puzzle, I have trouble stopping until it is complete so I can see the full picture. This is exactly what why I love homeopathy. Each patient is a puzzle and its my job to help take all of the symptoms, put them together and figure out what the symptom picture is telling me — root cause, etiology, main complaint. I am so humbled each day by my patients, what they teach me and the trust they put in me figuring out their puzzles.
