About Heather
Hello, thank you for visiting my profile!
I’m Heather and I live in Herefordshire on the borders of Wales. I work online from the beautiful countryside here. I am married with three children and my first granddaughter was born earlier this year. I’m a qualified and licensed classical and practical homeopath and have a BSc in homeopathy.
I discovered homeopathy 23 years ago when I was pregnant with my oldest child. I have been inspired ever since. Homeopathy has seen all my children through their childhoods and teenage years, and the older ones into adulthood and my son into fatherhood.
In 2013 I was bitten by a tick and got Lyme disease. I was fortunate to find an amazing homeopath who helped me recover. She inspired me so much that I decided to become a homeopath myself so I can support others on their own journey to recovery. Working as a homeopath means treating every person as an individual and not just focussing on their diagnosed condition. I love the fact that I can support people of all ages, helping them learn about their own health along the way and encouraging them to take a hand in their healing (you WILL get homework!).
I’m passionate about homeopathy. There is so much to learn about this fascinating and intriguing subject. I love sharing and passing on any new found knowledge so you can also be inspired to give homeopathy a try and make it part of your life.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy singing, writing poetry and short stories, yoga and outdoor swimming (or a daily cold shower if I can’t get to the river!). I also love inventing weird and wonderful fermented delights. I am a qualified yoga teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga with a special interest in working with those affected with cancer, and teenagers. I am a Scio bioresonance practitioner, Reiki practitioner and massage therapist. For the last 4 years my husband and I have been home educating our youngest daughter with the Steiner curriculum.

Special Interest
Having been touched personally by Lyme I have a particular interest in this area. I know from personal experience how it feels to be impacted with long term chronic illness because I have been there myself. I have now recovered – you can do it too.
As a mother of older children and as a supported lodgings provider my other special interest is working with young adults (18-25) and the particular health issues this age group often has to face: problems around mental health, addiction, anxiety, drug exposure, suicidality, alienation, and trauma in general.
I am looking forward to supporting on your journey to good health.
