About Alice
The birth of my eldest daughter in 2002 was the catalyst for me to train to be a homeopath as I wanted to be able to deal with any health issues which I came across. For both of my daughters I used homeopathy for their births and I have also used it as the main health therapy for them as they grew up.
Health really is a passion for me and in addition to homeopathy I also grow and process my own herbs and am training in herbal medicine. I believe that how we treat our bodies is an essential element in our wellbeing and I have introduced nutrition into my practice in addition to homeopathy and I offer dietary advice where needed. I also grow fruit and vegetables in my own garden
My aim as a homeopath is to empower my patients to confidently take control of their health and that of their families. I teach short courses in home-prescribing.
When I’m not seeing patients I love to garden, growing my own vegetables, fruit and herbs. I also keep in good health with yoga and cycling and I love to sea swim (more like dip) all year round.
My Special Interest
I am very interested in the gut / brain connection and so I like to help patients who suffer from gastrointestinal issues. In addition to homeopathy I also suggest dietary changes which help. I also like to help women to experience a healthy perimenopause and menopause through homeopathy and natural methods.
