About Me

Right from when I was a small child, I have always loved nature, animals, being outdoors and being creative. For me they have been strong influences throughout my life and are still so.

Homeopathy first came into my life after I had my daughter as I wanted to help her to be as healthy as possible in a natural way. A close friend of mine, who was also a new mum gave me a present of Arnica cream and suggested I use it for any bumps and bruises my daughter happened to get. It was so helpful, and my daughter responded so well to it that I wanted to know more about how it worked. Coincidentally at that time a local homeopath was running a first aid course in homeopathy which I attended, fell in love with its gentle healing powers and the rest is history. That was 30 years ago.

Later in 1998 I qualified from the College of Homeopathy (LCH) have been practicing ever since. I am registered with the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths (MARH). Following on from this I completed a one-year Postgraduate in Homeopathy and Energy with Paul Francis. I became passionate about the way homeopathy can help a person on so many levels not only on the physical but also mental, emotional and energetic levels.

For myself homeopathy helped me to get over asthma and hay fever for which I am forever grateful. It did take awhile to clear the symptoms but now I can be out in nature and around animals easily, which I do daily walking my dogs. These country walks are my solace time with my beautiful lurchers – (Boo and Sunny) and they bring joy to my heart.

I am continually furthering my education both of homeopathy and my own self-development. This is both good for me but also good so I can grow with my patients. Earlier this year 2019, I studied with the Dr Joshis’ in India learning through live cases using remedies from the periodic table, the animal, bird and insect kingdoms. I plan to continue studying this further in the future as there is so much to learn in this area.

My Special Interest

Mental and emotional health

EFT

Over the years my interest in learning has led me to train in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) also known as Tapping.

By tapping on acupressure points, the technique helps to release blockages in our energy system. These blockages can either be emotional or physical. They can leave us feeling stuck, anxious, depressed, lacking in confidence or lead to compulsive and addictive tendencies. As the blockages are released this allows the person move on with their life and to feel more confident in doing so.
