About Me
Hi, I’m Sonia, I am originally from Galicia in Spain. I grow up in a small city surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. Growing up, I did not have the opportunity of meeting different people and cultures, which is the opposite of the diversity and buzzing energy of London. They both feel at home now.
The quest to look for a method of healing that made sense to me was the direct result of my experiences with conventional treatments and doctors.
In my teens I started having panic attacks, sometimes I would faint. At 20 years old, I had a severe one that left me very shaken, so I went to the doctor. With the treatment I felt NUMB, I was like a ROBOT without feelings. The search for a more comprehensive permanent solution, led me to different alternative and conventional therapies until I went to a Homoeopath. It CHANGED my life. The transformation was on all levels; it came from within without struggle. I had the energy and determination to be myself. I found what I was looking for and it made sense to me. After my first follow up I started studying it. I have been qualified and practising for over 15 years. My passion for teaching, practising and sharing its benefits grows every day.
Qualifications
I am a Classical Homoeopath with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Health Sciences: Classical Homeopathy from the University of Westminster in London where I graduated in 2006 after 3 years of rigorous training.
Before this, I gained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History of Art in the University of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, Spain.
My ongoing professional development and postgraduate learning includes seminars and courses with worldwide prestigious homoeopaths.
In 2005 I attended the summer postgraduate course with Professor George Vithoulkas in the International Academy of Classical Homoeopathy in Alonissos, Greece.
In 2012, I completed the Advanced course in Homeopathy held in The Other Song Academy in Mumbai.
In January 2021 I received my certificate of completion of the course “Case studies” with Jeremy Sherr.
I am registered and fully insured with the Society of homeopaths (SoH). They are full members of The Council for Complementary and Alternative medicine (CCAM) and the European and International Councils for Classical Homeopathy (ECCH/ICCH).

I have special interest in eating disorders and addictions.

Working with Me
Homeopathy is a highly individualized therapy, treatment is tailormade for you. My aim during our consultations is to get to know how you experience your symptoms in all levels, mental, emotional and physical. I will do that by creating a space where you feel comfortable, safe and heard. Homeopathy is about taking responsibility for your own health, it is a process, a commitment and we will be working together and cooperating.
