About Me

Hi I’m Melissa and I practice as a Homeopath and Naturopath at my home in Brighton, on the south coast of the UK and worldwide by Zoom. I treat a wide range of symptoms and conditions but I have a particular interest in treating women’s health problems caused by hormone imbalances such as PMS/period problems, peri-menopause/menopause as well as hypothyroidism.

I have a BSc (hons) degree in homeopathy from the Centre for Homeopathic Education in London. I am a fully insured member of the Society of Homeopaths, working to their strict code of ethics and best practice levels. I also have a diploma in Naturopathy from the Centre of Naturopathic Medicine in London.

I am passionate about Homeopathy and believe it to be the most powerful and balancing form of medicine available. In my clinic I never cease to be amazed at what it can achieve and what a difference it can make to peoples lives. It gets to the root of an illness and enables a lasting cure. I came to Homeopathy in my early 30’s after suffering from recurrent health problems and becoming disillusioned with the conventional medicine that I was receiving. I was pregnant with my first child and did not want to continue with the pharmaceutical drugs that I was taking. It was my obstetrician who suggested I try homeopathy and I am forever grateful to her for introducing me to this amazing form of medicine.

I was amazed at how quickly Homeopathy turned my life around, in a safe and non-toxic way. This began my journey into natural health and after my children were born, I began to study first Naturopathy, then Homeopathy. I still continue with my learning by attending Homeopathic lectures, master classes and seminars.

My other passions include Yoga, traveling, the arts and reading a good biography. I also produce an organic, naturopathic skincare range called Puraka, which contains amongst other things, Homeopathy and Bach flower essences.

I have been using homeopathy effectively now for over 18 years on my family and myself. My two children aged 18 and 14 have not yet needed a single prescription from their GP or any over the counter medicine.
