Hello, I am Lisette, originally from Belgium, now living in the countryside of Far North Queensland in Australia.

Homeopathy is well known in Belgium but it was only when I had severe sciatica that I was introduced to classical homeopathy and the result was amazing. It immediately became my first go to health treatment, alongside healthy eating and lifestyle. It has helped me tremendously with physical and emotional problems and I quickly became passionate about it.

What I like about homeopathy is that it is gentle and truly holistic. It works with nature and stimulates self-healing. It focuses on the whole imbalance that someone experiences and overtime can eliminate the underlying cause and in this way reduces the likelihood of re-occurrence. I used to love jigsaw puzzles. Solving a homeopathic case can be very similar, with a lot of thinking and research. And it gives me the same satisfaction with the added benefit of helping someone at the same time.

I have three children and three grandchildren. After treating my own family for numerous acute and first aid situations and once my children reached adulthood, I decided to start my training with the School of Homeopathy in the UK as a long distance student. I have an advanced practitioner diploma and am registered with AROH (Australian Register of Homeopaths). I also keep up to date with new postgraduate courses from various teachers in different countries.

When I am not studying homeopathy or doing consults, I create fibre art and work in my garden. I am very passionate about self-sufficient living, permaculture and organic gardening. I find it important to keep traditional skills alive, using natural resources instead of petrochemicals.

In earlier years, I also worked as a clinical laboratory technician in a Belgian hospital.
